Valchromat Coloured MDF

Moisture resistant Coloured MDF panels with integral colour and enhanced structural performance. Unlike conventional MDF, Valchromat is manufactured with wood fibres individually impregnated with organic dyes and bonded using a specialised resin system. This process creates a dense, cohesive coloured MDF panel with distinctive physical and mechanical properties, delivering consistent colour through the full thickness, including edges and profiled surfaces.

Valchromat FAQ

What makes Valchromat different from standard MDF?

Standard MDF is typically uniform in colour and relies on surface treatments for visual finish. Valchromat differs through its engineered composition and structural consistency.

Key characteristics include: Mass-coloured board with colour throughout the full thickness, Enhanced moisture resistance, Increased density and mechanical strength, Suitable for machining, routing and three-dimensional detailing and Clean exposed edges without additional edge banding in many applications

The result is a material that performs as both a structural substrate and a finished surface.
