PROMASEAL® FWC Floor Waste Cast-In Collar is designed to provide fire resistance to concrete floor penetrations in wet areas, helping prevent the passage of fire and smoke through floor waste openings in the event of a fire.
(Patent Pending), PROMASEAL® FWC has been tested in cast-in floor applications with the pipe fitting located within the collar. When tested to AS1530.4 and AS4072.1, it achieved an FRL of -/120/120 for 50mm and 100mm uPVC pipes, and -/180/180 for 80mm uPVC pipes.
As part of an effective passive fire protection strategy, PROMASEAL® FWC supports compliant slab penetration detailing. Minimum slab depth: 150mm.
