WATER BASED ACRYLIC INTUMESCENT SEALANT
PROMASEAL®-AG Acrylic Intumescent Sealant is a water-based solution engineered for passive fire protection of service penetrations. Designed for use with copper pipes (with combustible or non-combustible insulation) and selected plastic pipes, it helps prevent the spread of smoke, fire and heat by expanding under high temperatures to seal gaps created by melting services or insulation.
Supplied in 300ml cartridges and available in grey, PROMASEAL®-AG forms a skin in approximately 15 minutes at 20°C and can be painted after 24 hours. Higher humidity (above 65%) may extend drying time. Ensure substrates are clean and free from oil, grease and dust prior to installation. Tools can be cleaned with water after use.
