PROMATECT® board systems provide a neat aesthetic finish whilst integrating the required fire performance of the steel. PROMATECT® fire rated boards can protect a large range of steel members with the use of a single layer for FRL’s up to 2 hours.

Cafco® 300 vermiculite spray and Cafco FENDOLITE® MII spray applied systems are cost effective ways of protecting structural steel. These two products are functional in nature and offer a high degree of fire resistance performance.

Promat’s intumescent coating products are capable of protecting structural steel whilst maintaining the exposed profile of the steel for a period of up to 2 hours. Intumescent paint is best for projects where structural steel is an architectural feature. If the steel is going to be hidden, Promat board or vermiculite systems are the best choice.
