PROMATECT® 100 is the leading board for constructing lightweight fire walls.  The board is developed from matrix engineered mineral and gypsum technology using PROMAXON®. The board can be used for walls, ceilings and steel protection systems for up to 4 hours fire protection.

PROMATECT® 100’s features include superior insulation properties, and excellent work-ability. The board is easy to cut, has a smooth flat surface, and high flexural strength which allows for designs to incorporate curved linings.

PROMATECT® 100 has been used in projects around Australia including in Perth on hotels, hospitals, office and mixed used residential projects. We have a sample wall with PROMATECT® 100 on display in our warehouse in Wangara which is available to be inspected.

PROMATECT® 100 fire rated wall systems are thinner than traditional fire rated plasterboard wall systems. By making use of the products superior insulation properties thinner over all wall design can be achieved, whilst maintaining the required Fire Resistant Level (FRL) and acoustic ratings. PROMATECT® 100 solid partition system can achieve 2 hour FRL between compartments by only utitlising 40mm of space.

PROMATECT® 100 fire rated walls can be constructed with both steel and timber studs starting at 64mm. For up to a 2 hour FRL only a single layer of board is required on each side of the stud work. PROMATECT® 100 fire rated board can also be used to construct fire rated ceilings and bulkheads.  The board has been used extensively over Australia including the recent Hotel development – Double Tree Hilton in Northbridge.
