This stunning workplace was designed using the ‘agile working’ principle and provides a choice of workspaces for different activities. This new design encourages staff movement and improved connectivity and comes with a new set of challenges such as:

• Noise level control – prevent high noise levels in the office, whilst adding to the design intent brief provided by the architect.
• Included in the specification were interesting open area perforation patterns and colours choices.
• Meet fire safety requirements and allow easy access to the ceiling void

Approximately 30,000m2 of SAS systems have been installed in the new office to provide premium Aesthetic Metal Ceiling Solutions that meet acoustic requirements for each area.

SAS International range of ceilings rafts, baffles and wall panels provide the highest levels of sound absorption and sound insulation available from systems of these types (up to Class A sound absorption and ‘double pass’ sound insulation of 50dB).

SAS 150 offers a secure, easy to maintain ceiling with convenient, hinge down access to the ceiling void whilst meeting the rigorous demands of office acoustics.

SAS 200 with a custom perforation pattern is both functional and aesthetically pleasing in design, the systems incorporate sound absorbing pads to provide outstanding acoustic control.

The design flexibility of SAS 330 allows for complete void access, total service integration and also offers lighting integration.

SAS 740 is the most creatively versatile of SAS’ linear ceilings, able to accommodate complex geometry, extrusions and void access and can intersperse with acoustic infill panels. SAS 740 effectively control any unwanted acoustic issues including drifting noise and echo.

SAS 800 Trucell is a decorative open cell ceiling, for airflow and smoke extraction applications. The metal ceiling system comprises a series of open-cell modules designed to lay onto a suspension grid.
